We invite you to a special 30th anniversary party and performance, with the unveiling of an entertaining hybrid work, created by 30 of Philadelphia's finest composers. Using as a model the “Exquisite Corpse” Dadaist parlor game where artists or poets write or draw a fragment on a piece of paper, fold it and pass it on to a new creator who only sees the previous fragment before adding his/her own creation, NNM will invite 30 Philadelphia-area composers to each create 4 measures of a larger work (“made by all and not by one”), which will emerge in fantastical form and be performed by the Network Ensemble.
