ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for a special preview presentation featuring excerpts from Lansing McLoskey's new composition One Book Called Ulysses performed by mezzo-soprano Maren Montalbano, flautist Susanna Loewy, and pianist Mark Livshits at the Rosenbach!

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce’s Ulysses, Network collaborates with the Rosenbach to present a new song cycle scored for voice and sinfonietta based on select passages from the novel by Grammy Award-winning composer Lansing McLoskey.

The Network ensemble will present excerpts of this special commission at the Rosenbach on May 20. Guests will enjoy a Q & A with the composer, a presentation of the original manuscript of Ulysses by the Rosenbach's executive director, and a reception with refreshments.

Network is offering a special ticket bundle for $45 that includes tickets for both the special preview presentation at the Rosenbach and the full premiere of One Book Called Ulysses at Settlement Music School on Sunday, May 22.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for entry and mask use required for the duration of the performance.
